What began as an idea to share free books with children has grown into something much larger.
An initiative of The Kid Lit Foundation, The KidLit Fest is Nigeria's most impactful children’s literature and storytelling festival. We are a platform that equips young storytellers with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to share their work with the world. Through The Kid Lit Foundation, we build access to books, stories, and opportunities that help children think boldly, write bravely, and define the future of Africa—and of African literature. Because every child deserves a story.
Our Story
