GEN ONE TALKS is a TED-style platform for bold young thinkers, writers, and creatives (ages 10–16) to take the stage at The KidLit Fest 2025 and share powerful ideas that challenge, inspire, and re-imagine the world around them.

If you have something to say — about identity, books, community, the future, or being young in today’s world — this is your moment.

who can apply

Children and teens aged 10–16 with a bold, original idea to share. No public speaking experience needed — just passion, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.

What you will Need

  • A short write-up (200–300 words) explaining your idea

  • A 1–2 minute video introducing yourself and your topic

Selected speakers will receive mentorship, training, and a chance to speak live at The KidLit Fest 2025.
